Champagne tissue, and falling down its length, lines of pearl strung like rain — chains of bead and cutdana alternating with fine gold zigzags, so the flare moves in vertical light rather than in pattern.

The blouse is padded and cut as a corset, sweetheart at the neck, and worked in two registers: a swirling wave of pearl and sequin across the bust, and beneath it a dense diamond lattice built bead by bead. The same wave runs the waistband. The dupatta is organza — its border worked heavily by hand, its edge finished in a pearl fringe, and across its body 3D flowers raised off the surface with pearl set at each centre.
