Ivory crepe, wrapped and gathered at the hip with a single fall over the shoulder — a draped skirt that reads as a saree and moves like one, without any of the pinning.

Above it, a corset. Properly boned and structured, sweetheart at the bust, with a sheer mesh back panel laced closed the way a corset should be. The embroidery runs in vertical bands — chevron, lattice, scallop, zigzag — built bead by bead in gold, amber and ivory pearl, denser at the cups, with a fine beaded fringe running the edge of each wide shoulder strap. The skirt is left completely plain so the work has nowhere to hide.
