Sitarah Olive Green Silk Lehenga Set — Zardozi Pitta Corset-Back Blouse with Organza Dupatta

Olive green, flat raw silk, left entirely plain — so that the blouse can hold a garden. Gold zardozi pitta reeds rise from its hem, and between them sit small bead and tikki flowers in fuchsia, pearl and coral, one of them built up into a shell.

The blouse is cut as a camisole on fine straps, laced open at the back and tied with a dori. A separate embroidered belt bands the waist in gold and pink, and beneath it the skirt falls into a full circle without a single motif to interrupt it. The dupatta is viscose organza, edged in a scalloped border of zardozi flowers with butis drifting through the body.
